Ingredients:
- 200g Nougat and Nice Spiced Fruit and Nut Nougat Box
Wet Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt
Dry Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups self-raising flour
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
Method:
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a 12-hole muffin tray with patty pans.
- Remove nougat from the wrapper, roughly chop, and pulse in a food processor until finely crumbed.
- In a large bowl, combine the nougat with all wet ingredients. Use an electric mixer to blend for 1 minute.
- On low speed, gradually incorporate the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Spoon the batter evenly into the patty pans. Garnish with a few pieces of orange slice on top of each muffin.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until a skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the tray for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack to cool completely.
